Runners needed to run for the Catholic Charities of Central Texas Team!
Austin half and full Marathon, February 19, 2012!
Catholic Charities of Central Texas (CCCTX) is thrilled to be an official charity of the LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon 26 Miles for 26 Charities to be held on Sunday, February 19th, 2012.
This is an excellent opportunity for CCCTX to raise awareness as well as raise funds to support our mission.

Are you a marathon or half-marathon runner or do you know runners? If so, please consider or ask your athlete friends to consider entering the LIVESTRONG Marathon and running in support of Catholic Charities of Central Texas.

Celebrating 100 Years!
The National Conference of Catholic Charities (NCCC) was founded in 1910 on the campus of Catholic University of America, to promote the creation of diocesan Catholic charities bureaus, "to bring about a sense of solidarity" among those in charitable ministries, and "to be the attorney for the poor." Since 1910, Catholic Charities USA has encouraged professional social work practice, provided opportunities for training and networking, and served as a national voice and expert on poverty issues. The Centennial is a time to reflect on past accomplishments and renew the commitment to serve those in need.

Donating is Easy for Government Employees
Federal and State employees can donate to Catholic Charities of Central Texas easily through payroll deduction.
Federal employees can donate through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and designate CCCTX #78705.
State employees can contribute through the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) and designate #521007.
